Gov. Herbert has asked Salt Lake citizens to carpool or take public transportation more often, as his response to record levels of inversion that Salt Lake experienced in January 2013? Seems like a man who drivers a Hummer.
Of course, Gov. Herbert would point out that the air quality is getting better than it used to be… and thinks the doctors who claimed recently that the air quality “is a genuine public health emergency” are exaggerating.
Governor Herbert lives in zip code 84102, and only a few blocks from where I live in 84103… neither of us have asthma. Maybe this is why, when asked recently about the problem, he was honest and said, there is no problem.
